In 1996, he performed at the CENTENNIAL
OLYMPIC GAMES during the opening ceremonies in Atlanta, the
ISRAEL DANCE FESTIVAL in Jerusalem, as well as the GATHERING OF TRIBES
in Los
Angeles.
In 2002, Eddie again performed at the Olympics, appearing
at the winter games in
Salt Lake City Utah.
In 2004, he performed with Keith Secola during the grand opening of the
AMERICAN INDIAN MUSEUM in Washington DC.
In 2007, Eddie became the Assistant Director of the newly revamped
outdoor drama "Unto These Hills", that runs all summer long in Cherokee
NC.
He has worked with actors like, Robert Redford, Goldie
Hawn, and Ted Danson.
Also, Wes Studi, Rodney Grant, Sheila Tousie, Michael GreyEyes and his
very close friend Buddy Big Mountain.
Eddie has also toured with many musical groups such as, Robbie
Robertson,
Buffy Saint Marie,
Ulali, Joanne Shanadoah, Floyd "Red Crow" Westerman,
The Edge of
U2,
and Tony Hymes of the Jeff Beck Band.
Among his many accomplishments, is that his portrait of the Hoop Dance
was used for a U.S. POSTAGE STAMP in the commemorative "Native American
Dance Series" |
